Stockport swimming club has been established for over 125 years, in our long history it has always been our main aim to make learning to swim accessible for all.
With learning to swim at the forefront of our ethos we pride ourselves on establishing the needs of every single member and then placing within the club in the right place for them.
We hold our club night on a Tuesday from 6.30 pm - 10 pm, there are are various different sessions depending on your ability and more information about this can be found on our training page of the website.
The venue for the club is Cheadle Pools, Shires Drive, Cheadle, Stockport, SK8 IJR.
The club is managed by a team of volunteers, serving as the club committee, from which the club's officers are elected. The committee manage the club night and are responsible for the supervision of the club's team of swimming teachers and coaches. The club teachers and coaches are qualified in the teaching and coaching of swimmers.

Club Annual General Meeting. (AGM).
The Club AGM is traditionally held on the first Thursday in November. Notification of the AGM is given on the Club Notice Board 28 days before the due date. Any resolutions or proposals must be handed to the Club Secretary 21 days before the AGM Date.
